It’s close to the end of the year and you know what means, it’s time for the 2018 Game Awards. This year is looking to be intense as the nominees have come rolling in, with the biggest games of the year being Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 and Sony Santa Monica’s God of War which are both locked in at 8 nominations each, which includes the coveted Game of the Year award, which includes Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Monster Hunter World and Celeste.
Other major titles that are nominated for multiple categories includes Fortnite with four nominations including Best Ongoing Game, while Call of Duty: Black Ops4, Destiny 2 Forsaken, and Detroit: Become Human each earned 3 nominations. As usual, the show will also include new reveals and musical performances.
The show will be broadcasted live on all major streaming and social platforms on December 6th at 8:30PM ET. Fans can vote on their favourite games at The Game Awards Website. Here is the list of nominees.
