Earlier this week at PAX East, Polish developer CD Projekt RED had a Q&A session with fans about the upcoming Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, when the question came up about the possibilty of seeing The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings coming to PS4 and Xbox One.
CD Projekt RED Staffers did mentioned that the possibility was considered, but it was decided to use their resources for their current projects with Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. So currently there are no plans for a Witcher Collection, however it may be a thing later on down the road.
Aside from this bombshell, CD Projekt RED confirmed that Witcher 3 would not come with a photo mode, a feature similar to what can be found in Shadows of Mordor, The Last of Us Remastered and Infamous: Second Son. It was a feature that was never really planned for the title, however it was worth noting as part of the Q&A. Players will still be able to take snapshots via Playstation’s Share button and Xbox Snapshot tool.
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set for May 19th, you can check out the latest trailer above.
