Sega’s popular Ryu Ga Gotoku series (otherwise known as Yakuza) will be 10 years old this year, and to celebrate, series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi announced that the original Yakuza will be coming to PS4 and PS3 early next year.
The remastered game, titled Ryu Ga Gotoku Kiwami in Japan, will feature new elements that were not possible on the PS2 when the game was released back in 2005. The game is slated for a Jan. 21, 2016 in Japan with no word as of yet for a North American Release.
Nagoshi also announced that the next numbered entry in the series, Ryu Ga Gotoku 6, will also be set for a 2016 release for the PS4, but could not offer any other information about the title.
