Bloodborne gets it’s first expansion pack with ‘The Old Hunters’

Sony Japan and From Software announced during this morning’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference that the first expansion for Bloodborne will be release on November 24th in worldwide, priced at $19.99.

The expansion, titled ‘The Old Hunters’ will focus on the various hunters that came before you that were only mentioned in passing. The expansion itself looks to be a mix of new and revised content, which includes new weapons such that take an appearance of a spiked wheel, a curved sword and a bow and arrow. These new weapons look like they’ll come in handy when facing the mix of old and new boss monsters.

Sony announced more details about the expansion on the Playstation Blog, giving a glimpse at what we can expect.

Set in a nightmare world where hunters from the past are trapped forever, explore brand new stages full of dangers, rewards, and deadly beasts to overcome. You’ll find multiple new outfits and weapons to add to your arsenal as well as additional magic to wield and add more variety to your combat strategy.

With new story details, learn the tale of hunters who once made Yharnam their hunting grounds, meet new NPCs, and discover another side of the history and world of Bloodborne.

Also announced was the Bloodborne – The Old Hunters edition, which will bundle the original game with the expansion.
