XSEED Bringing Senran Kagura Estival Versus to PS4 and Vita with a “Endless Summer” edition

The latest iteration and the first home console version of XSEED’s Ninja Brawler series, Senran Kagura, has been announced for PS4 and Vita with a Q1 2016 release window. XSEED also announced that Senran Kagura: Estival Versus will also feature a limited “Endless Summer” edition which will feature a random set of collectible “pin-up cards” of the game’s shinobis from the various factions playable in Estival Versus, as well as a 2-disc soundtrack, and an artbook packed with art from the series.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Senran Kagura series, the game follows multiple factions of female ninjas in training, with each game in the series finding a new reason for the groups to fight each other. The series has even spawned multiple games, manga and an anime series which has been licensed by Funimation Entertainment in North America.

XSEED has stated that Estival Versus will feature over two dozen fighters, which will be the biggest roster for the series, as well as 10 player online matches on PS4 (Vita is maxed at 4.) All the previous shinobi girls will return for the series with new moves to master and new characters will bring new challenges to the game.
