The ever popular MMO Tank Shooter, World of Tanks, will be coming to the PS4 in the near future, but like all good multiplayer shooters, we’ll be able to test the game in an Open Beta that’s planned to start on December 4th and run until December 6th.
The Open Beta will actually be open to everyone, regardless of Plus Subscription according to Wargaming.net. On top of getting to test out the game before it’s release, Beta players will also receive some goodies for when the full game launches in the near future. These goodies include a PlayStation 20th Anniversary edition of the M22 Locust US light tank, which will sport a grey color similar to that of the original PlayStation (pictured above).
World of Tanks will be very similar to the other versions of the game, however it will feature Vita Remote-play, and the beta will feature 2 new maps that will be a timed-exclusive to PS4 for an unspecified length of time, one of which is said to be “the largest World of Tanks map to date.”
