Telltale’s Game of Thrones confirmed for a second season

Here is something that comes at no surprise, but Telltale Games has confirmed that they are currently in development for a second season of it’s massively popular Game of Thrones title.

“When we initially announced the series in 2013, we let everyone know this would be a multi-title, multiyear partnership with HBO,” Kevin Bruner, co-founder and CEO of Telltale Games, stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “After this week’s finale, I’m pleased to officially confirm that there will be a second season of Telltale’s Game of Thrones series and that it’s currently in development.”

Of course, you could also see the planning of a sequel with the latest episode, “The Ice Dragon,” which features several big cliffhangers regarding the fate of House Forrester. Sadly, we don’t know how long we’ll have to wait for the next season, but Bruner said¬†“the choices players make in season one set the stage for what’s to come.”
