Despite how dark and bloody the world of The Witcher is, it is quite colourful to look at (you could just take a look at the Blood and Wine DLC to see exactly what I mean) and since adult colouring books are a thing, why not combine the two. After all, who would want the chance to jump at colouring a bathing Geralt of Rivia from the infamous Witcher 3 scene.
CD Projekt Red in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics, The Witcher Adult Colouring Book is a trade paperback with 96 pages of Witcher images for you to draw and bring your own colours to the world. illustrated by Marianna Strychowska, Yu-Chen Tang and Scott Wade, the book is set for a November 1st release and is available for pre-order for $14.99
Dark Horse provided the following description on the product:
“Journey along with Geralt, Ciri, Triss, Yennefer, Roach, Shani, and all of your favorite Witcher characters in a variety of fantastic settings . . . all inspired by the hit video game franchise with The Witcher Adult Coloring Book. Featuring uniquely designed and highly detailed black-and-white illustrations inspired by the games; this compilation of exquisitely crafted images is a must-have for Witcher fans worldwide!”
It’s probably safe to let everyone know that the ‘Adult’ in this context is based on the complexity of the drawings and not for any scenes that may involve Geralt and his many love interests, but as we pointed out in the image above, it doesn’t seem that they’re going to shy away from the more risqué drawings. We’re still holding out for the Unicorn.
