For a limited time, until February 29th, 2016, you can purchase just the multiplayer portion of Black Ops III on Steam for a mere $15. If you choose at a later time, you can then purchase the rest of the game at a discounted price. ($45 for standard or $85 for deluxe versions)
It should be made aware however there are some catches with this deal, as there are some things that are restricted or outright NOT included:
- Zombies game mode
- Campaign game mode
- Ability to play in Multiplayer custom games
- Ability to Prestige (your level will be capped at 55 in the Starter Pack)
- Access to mod tools or modded content (once released)
- Access to unranked server browser (once released)
- Ability to Fresh Start your profile
- The ability to access Dead Ops Arcade II and Nightmares mode
Black Ops III is one of the best modern shooters around, and definitely worth a try at the least.
