The Shin Megami Tensei series continues to pump out titles for the PS2 classics section of the PSN network and honestly we couldn’t be happier about it. Next week, “Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2 – Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon” will be launching on the PSN network, while no price was given for the title it would be safe to assume that it will follow the previous games trend of releasing for $9.99.
The game, released in 2009 was the sequel to the Devil Summoner comeback and is the fourth title in the Devil Summoner series (following the Sega Saturn SMT:Devil Summoner released in Japan in 1995, and Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers which made it’s North America debut on the 3DS in 2013.) The game was one of the last major titles for the PS2, releasing with an awesome collectors edition that included a Raidou Kuzunoha Jack Frost doll.
Also released during the fury of E3 news was Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2, completing the spin-off collection from after the first one was released a week prior. The Digital Devil Saga series is one of the more praised games of the SMT series in regards to it’s gameplay and dark story.
