While Renegade Kid always had the rights to their stellar FPS/Survival Horror game on the Nintendo DS, Dementium: The Ward, Any sequels or ports would have to go through SouthPeak as they had “first right of refusal on sequels.” However this is no longer the case as Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham announced on Twitter that they have obtained the sequel rights which will allow them to make sequels and ports of the series.
While the developer is probably most well known for Dementium DS versions (they like to distance themselves from the critically panned HD version on Steam that was developed by another studio) they are also known for their hit sidescroller Mutant Mudds and 3DS shooter Moon Chronicles.
