Despite its rocky start, Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Siege has passed 25 million players prior to the latest event – Operation White Noise, which brought in three new operators (2 from South Korea’s 707th Special Mission Battalion and one from Poland’s GROM Operators) and a new map.
The constant updates to the tactical shooter has gained a dedicated fanbase and it doesn’t look like things are stopping yet with Year 3’s content pass now available for purchase. Like with prior passes, those who have the pass will get early access to the new content that Ubisoft will release over the year, more specifically the eight Operators representing 6 countries.
Pass holders will also get a bunch of VIP benefits including extra credits, customizaton options, and shop discounts. Purchasing before March 5 will also get you a special Damascus Steal weapon skin, and if you owned the Year 2 pass, you’ll receive an additional 600 credits.
For those who don’t have the pass, the Operatives will be available shortly after their Early Access with the pass drops, and can be purchased with in-game currency. All players, whether they buy the pass or not, will receive the new maps for the year for free when they are launched as part of a content patch.
