Gameitall SuperGiant Games, the creators of the critically acclaimed Baston and Transistor, released their first trailer for their upcoming game “Pyre” earlier this week; which is currently planned for a 2017 release on PS4 and PC.
While the trailer is light on information about the game, what we do know about Pyre is that the game is a party based RPG in which players take control of a group of exiles in purgatory who compete against other refugees for freedom. Winning these contests will absolve them of their crimes, allowing them to come back home. We also know that the game will continue SuperGiant’s trend of amazing music throughout the game.
If you’re at PAX East this weekend you’ll be able to see the game in action. SuperGiant has also stated that they’ll keep fans posted on the game’s development ahead of it’s launch next year.
