The prospect of Playstation Now has always been interesting, a console based On Live, or better yet a Netflix that features video games. The only problem is the pricing, with no subscription plan, players would have to spend ridiculous amounts of money to rent a streamed version of a PS3 game for 4 hours to 90 Days.
While the rental service isn’t going to be changing anytime soon, the addition of a subscription fee may be the game changer that we need to really support the streaming system. The plans will be launching on January 13th at $19.99 a month or $44.99 for 3 months. No yearly plan has been announced as of yet.
If you’re not 100% sold on the feature, a free week of Playstation Now will be available at launch granting access to all the games.
