Since it’s release on January 30, Octodad: Dadliest Catch was has seen quite a bit of success with 90,000 copies of the game on PC, Linux and Mac. We will get to add more to that number with the PS4 release when it launches on April 22 in North America and April 23 in Europe for $15 (€14 / £12).
Octodad: Dadliest Catch on PS4 will include multiple updates and tweaks from player-based feedback, which includes the removal of a stealth based mission that was near the end of the game. For those who have yet to hear about Octodad, the game is all about silliness and making the main character – an octopus in a suit – fail at simple tasks. During development, Young Horses CEO Philip Tibitoski said the team lost sight of that “silliness” foundation, and the PS4 version returns to the weird things people really enjoy about Octodad.
The PS4 version will also include Move Support, as well as a co-op mode in which two players controls one Octodad. You can see the announcement trailer after the jump.
