Bandai Namco has recently revealed that Tekken 7 will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and to Steam on the PC in early 2017. The announcement was made during Microsoft’s presentation at E3 by Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray.
Coupled with the announcement was a trailer which showed off Street Fighter’s Akuma clashing with Tekken’s Heihachi Mishima. During the trailer, Akuma mentions fulfilling a promise to Kazumi Mishima, suggesting that the two will have some type of relation with each other in the game’s story. Harada stated that the game will have an “all-new story mode” that will exhibit “transitions from epic narrative cinematics to action-filled gameplay”, similarly to the trailer.
Furthermore, it was also announced that Xbox Live Gold members can download Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for free this week.
