We got a slow week this time, but somehow we still managed to pick out three titles to look into. So grab your oni-slaying swords, grabs some power-ups and lets get “The Show” on the road.
MLB 15: The Show (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
As much as I hate to admit it, Baseball and Video Games mix well, and Sony’s MLB: The Show is a great point of this. This week will see the release of the 2015 version which is said to have several improved features, graphics and animations, as well as a new Year-to-Year save which will allow players to import their career from 14.
Axiom Verge (PS4, PS Vita)
The latest game to join Playstation’s Spring Fever promotion, Axiom Verge is a Side-scrolling adventure game that draws inspiration from titles like Metroid, Contra, Blaster Master, and Bionic Command just to name a few. The game was part of 2012’s Dream.Build.Play Challenge where it was highly praised, with some sources stating that it is “a game you should be paying attention to once a final build is released.”
Toukiden: Kiwami (PS4, PS Vita)
An enhanced version of the 2013 PSP title that was released in Japan. In Toukiden: Kiwami, you take the role of a slayer who must protect the world from gigantic Onis by forming teams and using gigantic weapons. An unique game from the Dynasty Warriors Team, this enhanced version features twice the number of demons, two new characters, extended story and new equipment which includes firearms, Naginata and Kanabō (Club).
