It was really just a matter of time before we would see a new Lego Star Wars game now that The Force Awakens has made it’s run through theatres. WB Interactive and TT Games have announced Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is indeed in the works and is set to launch on June 28th.
The game will bring the Lego series trademark comedy to the Star Wars Film, and expand upon the events of the movie by including filling the gap between Return of the Jedi and Force Awakens. The game will also feature a “Multi-Build” option and Blaster Battles, both of which are unique to this Lego game, and give Players the ability to pilot the Millennium Falcon while playing as various characters from the film, like Finn, Poe Dameron and Rey.
A season pass has been announced as well, however no details were given about what we’ll see as DLC content. A Deluxe edition was also announced which will feature the season pass in full, as well as a special FN-2187 (aka Stormtrooper Finn) Lego Figurine.
