With Lego Dimensions is in direct competition with Activision’s Skylanders and Disney’s… Disney’s Infinity, WB Games will have to do something really awesome to separate it from the flock. Lego has released a Builder guide for set 71201, aka The Back to the Future Level Kit for Lego Dimensions, which shows off other sets that had yet to be confirmed for the upcoming game.
The document, found at Brickset, shows several sets including Level Kits, Team Packs and additional characters. These range from Scooby-Doo, Doctor Who, Valve’s Portal 2, Jurassic World, and others.
Level kits consists of a character, vehicle and an additional item, combined will unlock a new level for players. The announced Level Kits include The Simpsons (featuring Homer, the Simpson’s car, and their TV set,) Doctor Who (featuring the 12 Doctor, The Tardis and K9,) and Portal 2 (which breaks the formula by having Chell, A Turret and a Companion Cube.)
Team Packs include multiple characters and/or vehicles. These packs include Jurassic World (featuring Chris Pratt’s character, a security guard, a raptor and another item,) and Scooby-Doo (featuring Shaggy, Scooby, The Mystery Machine, and another item.)
Finally we have the fun packs, which are single packs of one character and vehicle. Most notable of this is the cast of The Lego Movie, Ninjago, and more Simpsons characters.
