It might be easier to list off who isn’t going to be in the upcoming Lego Dimension game, WB and Tt Games’ answer to the widely popular “Take a real toy and place it into a game world” that has made titles like Skylanders and Disney Infinity hits.
Tt Games released a new trailer (see above) mainly focusing on the game’s extensive Voice Cast which brings back Lego Movie actors Chris Pratt (Emmet), Alison Bree (Unikitty), Elizabeth Banks (Wildstyle), and Charlie Day (1980’s Spaceman). Elizabeth Banks’ Wildstyle will actually be one of the three main characters focused in the game along side Gandalf and Batman (voiced by Tom Kane and Troy Baker respectively).
The game is also set to reunite Back to the Future stars, Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd as Marty McFly and Doc Brown. The latest cast of Doctor Who, including Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, and Michelle Gomez, will reprise their roles and also be joined by previous incarnations of The Doctor via archived footage.
Other names include the cast of The Simpsons, Scooby-Doo, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson as Dr. Raymond Stantz and Winston Zeddemore from GhostBusters, Ellen McLain and Stephen Merchant as Portal’s Glados/Turrets and Wheatley, and finally Chris Pratt in his second role as Owen Grady from Jurassic World.
Coming in as original characters for the game is Gary Oldman (The Fifth Element, Dark Knight Trilogy) who will be playing the villainous Lord Vortech, and Community’s Joel McHale as the game’s guide, X-PO.
Lego Dimensions is set to launch later this month on September 27th.
