What do you get when you cross the 2D exploration of the Metroid series with RPG elements inspired from Valkyrie Profile? It would be Lab Zero Games’ latest title Indivisible, which has launched its Indiegogo campaign yesterday.
Lab Zero has described Indivisible as an platformer-RPG hybrid based on southeast Asian and other world mythologies. Players take control of Ajna, a “good-natured tomboy with a rebellious streak” who goes “on a globe-spanning journey to discover the truth behind her mysterious powers. On her quest she’ll be joined by a variety of unique heroes and gain new abilities to traverse the environments and defeat the enemies they’ll encounter along the way.”
Lab Zero is looking to for $1,500,000 to fund the game, however they have stated the game will cost a total of $3,500,000 to make the game completely. the extra 2 million will come from publisher 505 Games. Lab Zero has stated on their page that the campaign is not to gauge interest, but instead offer a “more equitable funding split.” At the time of this writing, the campaign has earned $113,948USD with 39 days left.
Now if the Gallery and gameplay trailers don’t sell you on the game, Lab Zero has released a playable prototype of the Indivisible for Free off of their webpage (Windows Only) to help you understand the game’s concept.
Lab Zero is planning to release Indivisible for PS4, Xbox One, Windows, Linux and Mac. If you want to help fund the game, check out their Indigogo page.
