Japanese game magazine Famitsu and Dengeki PlayStation will have a special interview with Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura, who gave a bit more information on what we can expect when we finally get our hands on Kingdom Hearts 3.
A few of the points in the interview include what we saw during the game’s E3 trailer, which brings back the default attack and magic commands over Birth by Sleep and Chain of Memories deck commands. Also Sora will have a new Free run ability, allowing him to wall run and various other parkour type moves.
Also mentioned is that a vast number of the game’s worlds will be new. Currently we do know that Olympus will be making it’s return and Tangled will be one of the new worlds. Fans will also be happy to know that according to Nomura, this will not be the end of the series, but rather the end of the “Dark Seeker” chapter and bring an end to Xehanort’s story. A plan has already been decided regarding the whereabouts of some of the characters fans might be concerned about. Nomura says he wouldn’t want to do something so disappointing as just settling things.
With development on track, the team has come up with a possible release window, however have to keep things a secret for the time being, but they did promise more information about the highly anticipated action RPG during D23 Expo Japan Kingdom Hearts fan event on November 3.
