Judgment, the Murder-Mystery Adventure game from the team behind the Yakuza series, is coming to the Playstation 5, Google Stadia, and Xbox Series X on April 23. According to Sega, the newly remastered version will feature refined visuals, 60 frames per second, improved load times, and all previously released downloadable content.
Originally released exclusively for the PS4, Judgment is a spin-off of the Yakuza series which puts you in the shoes of Takayuki Yagami, a disgraced lawyer turned private detective as they attempt to hunt down a murderer who has been killing Yakuza members and removing their eyes. Players would be able to investigate crime scenes, get into street fights and chases, as well as play dozens of minigames.
Judgment will be priced at $39.99 USD, for owners of the PS4 version, Sega has confirmed that there is no Cross-Buy available.
While we did not publish a review of Judgment, we did feel that the game is the weaker of the Yakuza games despite sharing a lot of the series main features, but after coming down the high that was the end of Kiryu Kazuma’s story in Yakuza 6, Yagami had an uphill battle. That being said, it might be time to try it again.
