The Game Awards has concluded and brought along a lot of excitement, rage and tears. While we would love to give you our full opinion of the show, we’re going to save it for our Live Podcast tomorrow. In the meantime lets talk about what’s really important, the big winners of the show.
Of the winners last night, Nintendo walked away with two awards, one for Best Family game for Super Mario Maker and another for Best Multiplayer game with Splatoon. Psyonix also walked away with two for Rocket League, which won best Indie and best Sports/Racing game. Speaking of Indies, the mystery game Her Story earned two awards, for best Narritive and best performance.
Keifer sutherland accepted the award for Metal Gear Solid on behalf of Kojima Productions due to an lawyer issue with Konami (more on that as the story develops), the stealth action series won Best Action Adventure and Best Score/Soundtrack.
Finally, the big winner was CD Projekt Red for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which earned Developer of the Year and the Game of the Year award.
