Don’t let the cheery music and dancing throw you off, Hatsune Miku Project Diva X is a beast. Sega released a new Rhythm trailer for the upcoming Rhythm game showing off some of the key features of the game and how the difficulty settings will change how you input your commands.
Along with the difficulty settings, the new trailer showed off some of the unlockable modules (costumes) that players will be able to earn in the game, and for the creative players, the ability to set your own concert complete with backdrops, animations, costumes and more.
What the trailer didn’t show us is that Hatsune Miku’s first PS4 outing will also include a story which will follow the Vocaloid and her friends across 5 different Cloud systems to explore and face various challenges. While we don’t know how deep the story is, we can assume we’ll see more of that feature in the near future.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will be launching later this month on Aug. 30, 2016 in both digital and physical formats in the Americas and Europe for PlayStation 4 and Vita. For those who are on the fence about a game featuring a virtual diva, a demo will be released next week on Aug. 9th.
