The Action Adventure genre redeemed after last year’s lackluster showing. This year we used stealth to liberate exotic locals, hack’n’slashed giant beasts as a hunter, and stampeded though an army as a giant Elephant.
AND THE NOMINEES ARE:
WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT (CD PROJEKT RED)
ASSASSIN’S CREED SYNDICATE (UBISOFT MONTREAL)
METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN (Kojima Productions)
BLOODBORNE (FROM SOFTWARE/SONY)
TEMBO THE BADASS ELEPHANT (Game Freak/SEGA)
AND THE WINNER IS:
ASSASSIN’S CREED SYNDICATE (UBISOFT MONTREAL)
After the nightmare that was Assassin’s Creed Unity, there were no expectations that the next Assassin’s Creed was going to be any good… After playing Syndicate, I am glad I was wrong. Removing the Multiplayer aspects, giving you control of two different assassins with the Faye Twins, add in a better combat system, and a progression system that is similar to the Far Cry series, and you got one of the best entry into the series since Assassin’s Creed 2.
