The closed beta for the Final Fantasy XV upcoming multiplayer mode – Comrades – starts today (August 3rd) and will run until August 8th. The Beta is only available to those who purchased the $25 Season Pass and have either Playstation Plus and an Xbox Live Gold Subscription.
Comrades is an Co-operative Multiplayer mode for Final Fantasy XV where players will be able to create their own Final Fantasy Hero to take on quests with up to three other players. The full version will offer a variety of new weaopns, attack patterns, sigils, quest, towns and more, however the beta will be limited, check out our previous post about the multiplayer mode for more information.
Square Enix has yet to announce the release date of the multiplayer expansion and more details about what will be included will be coming soon according to the publisher.
The latest update for Final Fantasy XV was released earlier this week and included the long-awaited Magitek Exosuits, which sadly looks a little less like Power Rangers now, and brought back the limited-time in-game event, the Moogle Chocobo Carnival. The Carnival will run until “late September” but only those who have the free or paid Holiday DLC packs installed will be able to access it. The next Story Driven DLC, Episode Ignis, is scheduled for December.
