Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming to the Switch this fall and Bandai Namco wants to make sure the online is working just right for the new Switch fighters on launch by holding an Open Beta in August.
Along with the Open Beta announcement, Bandai Namco also let loose some new Multiplayer features including 2v2 and 1v1 matches, plus an offline six-member party match modes which will all be available when the game launches. The Switch version will also feature an aray of controller options including the ability to use a single Joy-Con controller (great for those multiplayer matches) or a Pro Controller.
Dragon Ball FighterZ was developed by Arc System Works (Blazblue, Guilty Gear) and was released on PS4, Xbox One and PC in January. Pre-orders for the Switch version however will come with a downloadable copy of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden that was originally released in Japan in 1993, other pre-order incentives also includes early access to SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta, who can be unlocked by fulfilling certain conditions in the game.
