Gameitall Mentioned in passing during Zatana’s ending in the original Injustice: Gods Among Us, the ultimate magic user of the DC Universe known as Doctor Fate will be joining the cast of Injustice 2 as a playable fighter.
In DC Universe lore, Doctor Fate is an agent of the Lords of Order and is considered to be the strongest magic user in the DCU. While there has been many version of Doctor Fate, Injustice 2 will be using Kent Nelson, one of the original bearer of the name.
Fate’s playstyle appears to be a mixture of quick melee attacks and powerful range and trap magic moves, giving him a lot of control over the screen. You can check out the announcement trailer above to see more of the hero in action. Injustice 2 is out May 19th 2017.
