The 3rd entry in the Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball series isn’t just content with having you watch your favourite fighters frolic on the beach instead of beating the hell out of each other, they actually want to put you there. As Team Ninja had announced during TGS that the PS4 version of Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 – now called DOA Extreme 3: Fortune – will support Playstation VR.
It was also announced that Xtreme 3 will see a Vita version under the title of Dead or Alive Extreme 3 Venus, and will feature classic DOA characters such as Marie Rose, Honoka, Kasumi, Ayane, Kokoro, Nyotengu, Hitomi, Momiji and Helena.
The game is due out in Japan sometime next spring, however Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja did not give any details about how the VR will work in Fortune, or if the game will see a North American audience.
