During the Nintendo Indie World stream, Developer Team Reptile announced the upcoming graffiti-parkour/skating game Bomb Rush Cyberfunk will be a timed exclusive for the Nintendo Switch when it launches in 2022.
Inspired by Sega’s Jet Set Radio games, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk will have players exploring a futuristic city via running or skating on walls, grinding on rails, and coving it in graffiti in an effort to become All-City King. All while recruiting new unlockable characters to your gang and avoiding the cops.
To help with the Jet Set Radio vibes the game is throwing down is Hideki Naganuma, who is working on the game’s music and previously worked on the Jet Set Radio, Sega Rally and Yakuza franchises soundtracks.
While we have confirmed that the game will be coming in 2022 to the Nintendo Switch first, Team Reptile also confirmed that the game will be coming to “all relevant platforms” sometime next year.
