BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle joins Evo 2018, Blake and Yang as Free DLC

The upcoming Cross-over title from Arc System Works – BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle – is officially set to make its rounds at EVO Championship Series 2018. It will be joining the likes of Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition, Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Melee, Injustice 2, and Arc System Works other major fighter – Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ. The tournament will take place Aug. 3-5 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, giving tournament goers just under 2 months as the game is set to release in North America on June 5th, 2018.

Blazblue Cross Tag Battle brings together four different universes, the titular BlazBlue series, Under Night In-Birth, Atlus’ Persona series and Rooster Teeth’s RWBY. The game will consist of a roster of 20 characters (who is listed below). Controversially, the list of characters were revealed to see that Team RWBY would be split up with the series only being highlighted by Ruby and Weiss, however Arc System Works confirmed that they will be providing Blake and Yank as free Launch Day DLC. The roster will also see a major expansion with 20 DLC characters – making the total amount of fighters to 40.
