Gameitall So you were pretty good at hunting in Far Cry 3 and 4, huh. Good, because that is a skill you’ll need in Ubisoft’s next entry in the series, Far Cry Primal. Taking place in the stone age, players will have to resort to using melee based weapons along with spears and bows, however your character has another special trick up his sleeve that will make the game interesting.
Ubisoft showed off the new Beastmaster ability at The Game Awards, allowing you to tame animals you’ve hunted and use them as a companion. The new trailer showed some of the beasts you’ll get to control including a Sabretooth Tiger, a giant wolf, bears and more.
The game is still currently set for a February 23rd, 2016.
