Gameitall The PS4 remake of Amplitude has been given an official release date and price of January 5th 2016 for $19.99. If you were one of the many who backed the game during its Kickstarter run and payed $40, you will be able to get the game even earlier, on Dec 23rd 2015.
The game finally comes out after a string of delays as Harmonix originally intended to release the game on PS4 and PS3 in March 2015, however it was pushed back to Summer and then to the end of the year. This release will only cover the PS4 edition of the game, with the PS3 version still currently on track to be released later.
Harmonix also included a full track list for the game on their Kickstarter page, which includes tunes from Freezepop and Insomniac Games. The game will also be playable at the Playstation Experience this weekend, Harmonix will feature the game at its booth on the showfloor and offer players a special dynamic theme for PS4 as well as an Amplitude trading card.
