Spike Chunsoft next and final entry in the Zero Escape series may be coming to PC a lot sooner than you would think, as a representative advised Polygon that the game will land on PC via Steam on June 28th, one full day after the game’s release on 3DS and Vita.
“In Japan, the Steam release and physical release are both June 30 (2 a.m. JST),” a representative for Spike Chunsoft told Polygon. “But due to time zones, that translates to June 29, 10 a.m. PT (give or take some time for it to go live on Steam).”
This is the first time that one of the Zero Escape series had… escaped… to PC, previous titles 999 was a DS exclusive, while Virtue’s Last Reward was available for both 3DS and Vita. The game’s North American publisher Aksys Games also stated that while Zero Time Dilemma is the series ender, it still serves as a good entry point for newcomers to dive in to the crazy murder-mystery-visual novel series.
