Sega announced on Wednesday that the detective beat’em up game Judgment and its sequel, Lost Judgement, are now available on PC via Steam.
The announcement came during a showcase that featured several Yakuza titles that are in the works (as well as a name change to bring it closer to the original Japanese title – Like a Dragon.) Judgment served as a spin-off series, focusing on detective work while featuring familiar locations, and combat, from the original games.
Judgment released in 2018 on PS4, and was rereleased in 2021 for PS5 and Xbox Series X. It followed the story of private detective named Takayuki Yagami, who investigates a series of murder cases in Kamurocho. Lost Judgment (released in 2021) takes place 3 years later with Yagami returning to investigate a recently discovered corpse and a sexual harassment trail involving a high-profile police officer.
Both games were co-created and written by Toshihiro Nagoshi and starred actor-singer Takuya Kimura (Howl in Howl’s Moving Castle) who provided likeness and his voice for the original Japanese version for Yagami.
Judgment and Lost Judgment are now available via Stream separately or in a bundle, called The Judgment Collection, which also includes the Kaito Files expansion for Lost Judgment.
