After tons of fan protest, looks like Nintendo finally buckled down and is ready to released the highly anticipated Xenoblade Chronicles to North America in April 2012. While no official date has been set yet, Gamestop had listed it for April 3rd..
The Game had been available for Europe and Japan for some time now, with fans in protest for the much hyped JRPG with Nintendo of America saying that it would not release the game stateside. This isn’t the first anticipated Wii game that they blacklisted from the market as two other JRPG’s The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower as well as Japanese Survival Horror Fatal Frame IV.
With Xenoblade Chronicles being the first of the titles to come to North America, fans are already beginning to hope that the other three will follow.
And yes Nintendo, I will keep jabbing to get Fatal Frame IV released stateside.
Update: According to the official PR that Nintendo of America just sent out, the game will be sold exclusively through GameStop retail outlets and Nintendo.com’s website for $49.99.
