If there was any game that got us extremely excited at this year’s E3, it was Ubisoft’s Watch_Dogs. In this futuristic open world shooter, you have access to everyone’s digital foot print and hack into major utilities to track down and assassinate other people. While there doesn’t seem to be much more on the story, the E3 Demonstration gave a distinct Assassins Creed mixed with Splinter Cell technology feel.
At Ubisoft’s financial call today, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, stated that “Watch Dogs will be coming next year,” Ubisoft has stated that it will be for sure on the PS3 and Xbox 360 with the Wii U still an option at the time. Hopefully this means we’ll see more gameplay and get more story information in that time.
