With E3 just a month away, we’re getting ready to see what some of the major publishers have in store for us over the next couple of years. However yesterday, Walmart Canada had leaked several unannounced games with place holder images suggesting that we may see new entries to some of our favourite franchises in the near future.
Of the place holder images, we have items that includes games that we already know are in production including Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Beyond Good and Evil 2, The Last of Us 2, Super Smash Bros and Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Others included unannounced titles including Rage 2, A new Splinter Cell title, Lego DC Villains, Gears of War 5, Just Cause 4 and a new Assassin’s Creed.
Walmar Canada has since removed the listings, but like all things on the internet, screenshots and images from the time the blunder happened are scattered across the net. Still none of the developers have denied or confirmed the existence of the games in question at this time with one exception being Bethesda.
On the official Rage Twitter account, Bethesda took some time to poke some fun at the listing.

However it feels just a bit weird being the Official Twitter account’s first Tweet on the system despite being on Twitter since 2009, but if Rage 2 is actually on its way, then we’ll know for sure at Bethesda’s E3 conference on Sunday June 10th.
