The upcoming Sony exclusive Horror title “Until Dawn” is shaping up to be one of the more interesting titles to be released this year, fixed on a premise of a teen slasher flick with gameplay that appears to be similar to that of Heavy Rain, focusing on choices of your character and the consequences around them.
To help promote the idea of how easily your choices can go bad when dealing with a psycho killer, Sony has released a live action interactive trailer titled “Choices,” which sets up a classic horror movie scenario. If the trailer is any indication though, the game will be filled with hard choices and tense moment that will likely lead you to realize that no matter how hard you scream at the TV at how stupid a character is, you’re not likely to do any better.
Another trailer was also released on Gamestops Facebook Page titled “Road Not Taken,” another live action trailer, however this time focusing on the more emotional aspects of the game’s theme while using the famed Robert Frost’s poem “The Road Not Taken.”
Until Dawn will be released on August 25th.
