Mortal Kombat X is a great fighter and possibly one of the best in the series, however there are a few things that don’t sit well with me, which you may have noticed following our Twitch stream of the story mode (end shameless plug here.) My biggest complaint was the addition of Rain, Baraka and Sindel being fighters being opponents in the story mode but not available as playable characters. Of course, PC modders have found a work around for this, but what about those who are playing on consoles?
It turns out that I wasn’t the only one with this problem as a fan tweeted series creator Ed Boon about this, in which he replied “[You] mean like a ‘Story Pack’?” While this would normally not be a lot to go on, but Ed Boon is not shy about dropping hints and clues about items like this, leading many to believe that we may see these characters later on in a similar fashion to Injustice’s additional DLC.
Recently, the team at NetherRealm released the 1.02 patch, which fixed a few balancing issues with the game and added a the Klassic skin for Sub-Zero. Ed Boon confirmed that a costume will be available when ever there is a patch in a Tweet as well.
