Gameitall We won’t have to wait much longer for the next set of free content for Titanfall 2, as developer Respawn Entertainment have announced that the update will come out on March 30th 2017.
Similar to the Angel City update, the next update will bring in a classic Titanfall map, Colony, and includes a new weapon, a rifle called the R-101, which is “well regarded for its unique versatility.” The update will also add a free execution called Curb Check which delivers a brutal grapple hook to face attack which is just amazing to see in motion. The update also comes with some paid cosmetic items including Prime Titan Skins, Nose Art and more.
To celebrate the update, Respawn is doing another Free Weekend for the game running from March 30 to April 3, which will give access to the game’s multiplayer (including a double XP gain) as well as a level of the single-player campaign and the training gauntlet to help players train for the crazy speed they’ll get while running around the maps.
Respawn has been dedicated to making all the maps and gameplay changing content free for players while paid DLC would be based on cosmetic items, the first of this content was the remake of Angel City and a new Game mode called Live Fire. We reviewed Titanfall 2 and thought it was one of the best shooters of last year.
