Let’s get this out-of-the-way first, this is not a game based on the very popular Netflix series, rather than a remake of the Gothic Horror Adventure game of the same name. Being developed by King Art Games, best known for “The Book of Unwritten Tales”,”The Dwarves” and “The Raven”.
Originally released in 2004, The Black Mirror was a point-and-click adventure focused on a murder mystery involving a family curse, while it received mixed reviews, the game did well enough to do two sequels. The reboot of the title will feature a totally new and independent story, giving players a new abilities such as interactions with vision-like apparitions.
A demo will be available to try at the THQ Nordic Stand at Gamescom for those attending. Until then, those interested will have to settle for a creepy new trailer for the game and the reassurance that we’ll be able to begin our investigation into the mysteries of the Black Mirror castle in on November 28th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
