THQ announced earlier today that it the Saints Row: The Third Stand alone expansion title, “Enter the Dominatrix” has been canceled, however may be implemented in to “The Next Great Sequel in the Saints Row Franchise” which is currently being worked on.
“I asked the team what it could achieve given more time, more resources, and a broader scope for the project. We all agreed we wanted to play that game,” THQ president Jason Rubin. “We believe the potential for this sequel is far greater as a full-priced, full-length, high quality, connected experience.”
Originally, THQ had stated that “Enter the Dominatrix” would be available for a September release. Leaving the company with 5 titles this fiscal year ending in March: Darksiders II, Metro: Last Light, WWE ’13, South Park and Company of Heroes 2.
