If you missed last night’s VGA awards on Spike TV last night, honestly you weren’t missing much. There were some highlights of the night, including some big reveals and trailers for upcoming games. The big news though was that TellTale’s The Walking dead won the big award for Game of the year as well as best adapted video game and best downloadable game. This earned TellTale Games the Studio of the Year award as well.
Other big winners included Journey, which had the most nominations, walked away with 3 awards including Best PS3, Best Independent game, and best score. Borderlands 2 snagged Best Multiplayer and Best Shooter. Halo 4 grabbed Best Xbox 360 game and XCOM: Enemy Unknown for Best PC (which was not announced during the show).
