For those itching for a new Free-to-Play MMO on consoles, En Masse Entertainment has released their famed Action MMO series Tera for PS4 and Xbox One this week and is currently available now on each console’s respected online store. Tera features a massive open world with combo-driven gameplay and some new features that makes the leap to console feel natural to those used to console driven Action RPGs.
“Coming off a highly successful head start, TERA is ready for the masses to dive in and experience a true console MMORPG,” said Matt Denomme, Sr. Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment. “The development team at Bluehole has taken great care to ensure that TERA on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One retains all the depth of an MMO, along with visceral action combat and an intuitive user interface.”
En Masse Entertainment made sure to highlight the new lock-on system, cleaner user interface, and easy button mapping that makes using the series fast paced combat and skills to take the TERA’s “Big Ass Monsters” a great experience. We tested the game during one of the beta weekend and the new controls seemed to work well for the console edition and experienced minimal lag during our test, we’ll let you know how that carries over to the full release as we take a closer look at the game.
