Telltale games released some new information today about their upcoming team-up with Marvel entertainment for Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy with some fresh new screenshots of the Guardians in action as well a listing of the all-star voice cast.
Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy will have our heroes finding an artifact of incredible power after an epic battle. Each of the Guardians want to use the artifact for their own uses, including a new enemy who will stop at nothing to get it. The series promises to see plenty of Guardians related locations from the Milano (Star-Lords ship), Earth, and Knowhere, and like the films, be set to some awesome tunes.
While it’s slightly disappointing that we won’t see the film’s cast in the game, Guardians of the Galaxy is still backed up with some big named voice talent including Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series) as Star-Lord, Emily O’Brien (The Young and the Restless, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor) as Gamora, Nolan North (the Uncharted series, Pretty Little Liars) as Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells (Watch Dogs) as Drax, and Adam Harrington (The Wolf Among Us, League of Legends) as Groot.
You can check out all the screenshots released today in the gallery below. Guardians of the Galaxy Episode 1 is currently set for a Spring release and will be available both digitally and physically, with the first episode being on disc with later episodes being added as part of an online update.
