For many of us, the wait for Tekken 7 has been a long one but worry not, the game is coming out soon, kind of! June 2nd is the date to mark on your calendar for the game’s release on PS4, Xbox One and for Steam on PC.
Along with the reveal of the official release date, Bandai Namco also sweetened the news with information regarding the release. A collector’s edition will be available for PS4 and Xbox One (sorry PC players…) containing a statue of Kazyua fly kicking Heihachi mid-air, a steel book and the official soundtrack for Tekken 7.
Pre-order bonuses and DLC information were also present, here’s a quick break down:
-Tekken 7 will have a season pass that will include new playable characters, new stages, costumes, a new game mode and a 35-piece Metallic Costume pack.
-Pre-orders bonus will grant DLC access to Eliza from Tekken Revolution and as a bonus, Xbox One pre-orders will come with the 360 version of Tekken 6, taking advantage of the backwards compatibility, this is also valid for the digital pre-order on Xbox One that will be availabe beginning January 31st.
-A Digital Deluxe Edition of Tekken 7 will be availabe on all three platform and will include Tekken 7 and the Season Pass.
-PS4 also gets some nifty add-ons in the form of legacy costumes from Tekken 2 and Tekken 4 for King, Xiaoyu and Jin as well as the Jukebox Mode where you can listen to classic Tekken music and make you own playlist to listen while playing.
