The Capcom Arcade classic Strider 2 will be coming to the Playstation Network Tuesday October 7th 2014 under the PSone Classics section. This is great news for fans of the series considering the PSone version of the classic game included the port of the 1989 original as well.
Strider 2 originally was released back in 1999, and was an action platformer which featured the acrobatic ninja Strider Hiryu as he climbed buildings and sliced apart robotic monsters. Strider latest entry came earlier this year from Double Helix which was released for consoles and PC, prior to that Strider Hiryu made an appearance in Ulimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 in 2011.
While the pricing of the game has yet to be fully announced, it could be assumed that the title may follow the standard PSone Classic pricing at $5.99, and as with most PSone Classics, the game will work on PS3, PSP and PSVita.
