Originally planned to be released along side the PSVita version of the game, Capcom is adding the 12 DLC characters to Street Fighter X Tekken to consoles a little bit early on July 31st with a price of $19.99/1600 MS points.
The DLC characters brings the roster up to an even 50 fighters, featuring the following characters with their paired stories like all the previous characters:
- Blanka and Sakura
- Cody and Guy
- Dudley and Elena
- Brian Fury and Jack-X
- Lars and Alisa
- Christie and Lei
While the 12 characters may sound like a big download file. It may be critically less then you would think as hackers have found that all the information is coded on the Disk. Capcom explained this to be a compatibility solver, allowing people who have the paid content to still be allowed to play against other people who don’t online; as well as an issue to fix bandwidth and usage issues. Capcom made a formal statement at EVO 2012 stating that their team are listening to their fans and changes will be happening in term of how DLC are handled by the company.
